Claire was called to preach as a young woman while a member of Williamson Chapel CME Church. She was licensed as an Exhorter under the pastorate of Fredrick L. Braddock, Sr., who guided and encouraged her as she developed her ministerial skills.  Claire has served faithfully under the awesome leadership of Pastor Woodrow W. Harris, Jr. and currently serves under the dynamic leadership of Rev. Dr. Lynn Hargrow, Sr. .  Dr. Jasper received her Deacons orders from the 1st Episcopal District of the CME church.  Honored to bare the title “Reverend”, Claire serves at Williamson Chapel as a local deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Chairperson of the Commission on Membership and Evangelism.
